The village is situated on the coast line with walking access to the beach and is less than 4 miles from the small town of Williton and around 13 miles from the popular sea side resort of Minehead.

Close by is Doniford Farm Park which has a farm shop and indoor soft play area.

Enjoy a nostalgic steam train journey from the seafront on the West Somerset Railway, or visit Blenheim Gardens, winner of many awards for its beautiful floral displays. Renowned for the largest herd of red deer in England, Exmoor National Park with its wooded valleys, pretty bridle paths and heather-clad moors, is well worth a visit, whilst the magnificent National trusts, Norman Castle at nearby Dunster is a must.
